Grey days continueeeeeee

Days continue grey and rainy. It is difficult not to fall in grey day´s melancoly. I try to fill home with colours, fresh flowers, new books and a bit of happiness.
Egun grisak eta uritzuak jarraitzen dute. Zaila da malenkolian ez erortzea. Etxea kolorez, lorez, liburu berriz eta poztasun apur batekin betetzen zaiatzen naiz.

Little coloroured flowers in my new handmade ceramic vase. Don´t fall in grey melancoly days, and have a great weekend.
Lore koloretzuak zeramikaz eginiko jarroi berrian. Ez utzi egun grisen malenkoliak arrapa zaitzatela. Astebukaera bikaina izan.

Corner view: favorite hang-out

I must confess that I was a bit lost this week about corner view. I don´t know exactly what was to hang out. I have just looked out the meaning...and discovered that my last post could be out for hang out...or should I think about going out?
Aste honetan galdua nengoen. Zer esan nahi zuen asteko gaiak...izegi? edo kanpora irten...

Hanging out....probably nature related, with friends and food. And after all, a beer or a wine in a bar with some pintxos.
Kanpoan...naturarekin erlazionatua, lagunekin eta janariarekin. Eta gero tabernan, ardo edo garagardoarekin eta pintxo batzukin.

This photos are taken with no digital camera...it is working again...love the colours.

Monday o monday

When weekend has been grey and rainy and you have done nothing more than read, watch tv and eat...monday is a bit refreshing.
Astebukaera grisa eta euritsua izan danean eta irakurri, jan eta telebista ikusi besterik ez dezuenean egin...astelehena ezberdina iruditzen zaizu.

Arrive home after gym (yeh! i am going to gym and swiming) and feel full of energy, open a beer and start making homeworks ( i haven´t make at weekend)....
Etxera heldu gimnasiatik (bai! gimnasiara noa eta igeri egitera ere) eta energias betea, garagardo bat ireki eta etxekolanak egiten hasi (astebukaeran egin ez ditudanak)....

And as I cannot hang the clothes out, leave all the kitchen full of wet shocks.
Eta kanpoan izegi ezin dudanez, sukaldea galtzerdi buztiz betea laga.

A simple monday. Astelehen bat besterik ez. Un lunes cualquiera.

Bad weather. Reading time.

The weather forescast says that the weekend will be grey and rainy. So I will try to spend a bit more time reading and studying. I have just finished a beautiful book I want to recomend you. It is "Astrid and Veronika" by Linda Olsson. I think you will enjoy it a lot.

Eguraldiko gizonak astebukaera grisa eta euritsua datorrela esan du. Beraz denbora pasako det irakurtzen eta ikasten. Amaitu berri dudan liburu bati buruz nahi nizuen hitzegin. "Astrid eta Veronika" Linda Olssonena. Asko gustatuko zaizuela uste diat.

"Astrid y Veronika". Creo que os va a gustar.

Have a great weekend

Corner view: what we are wearing

Or the aventure of taking myself photos
Edo neure buruari nola argazkiak atera
O la aventura de sacarme fotos
Trying to find a good mirror....in my parent lift. In black.
Izpilu on bat bilatzen...gurasoen etxeko aszenzorean. Beltzez.
No coat. No model style. In the middle of a changing room in a shop, trying with another mirror. In navy blue skirt and rest in black.
Beroki gabe. Modelo estilorik gabe. Denda bateko aldagelan, beste izpilu batean saiatuz. Urdin ilun eta beltzean.
A touch of colour in red. Kolore ukitu bat beltzean. Un toque de color en rojo.

Txalaparta

This is a "txalaparta" an ancient instrument. It is made on wood of different trees in order to play different sounds. Some weekends ago there were some concerts in the old part.
Txalaparta konzentrazioa orain astebukaera batzuk gasteizko alde zaharrean.

Corner view: holiday

I remember a night at my grandparents. In Aramaiona. It was Christmas Eve, and for our family that day Olentzero comes to leave the gifts. It was late and the night was dark. All the children went out with our grandfather. He looked far away and said "Do you look that light over there, in the mountain? He is coming down. It is time to bed". Everynight I saw unknown lights in the night he comes to my memory. It is my christmas dearest remind.
Aitonen etxean pasatako gau bat diat gogoan. Aramaixon. Gabon gaua zen eta Olentzero etortzen zan gau horretan. Berandu zan eta gaua ilun zegoen. Ume guztiak aitonarekin atera ginen kanpora. Urrutira begiratu eta esan zigun: " Ikusten duzue argi hor urrutian? Hortik dator Olentzero mendian behera. Ohera joateko momentua heldu da". Edozein gauetan argi ezezagun bat mendian ikusten dudanean aitona datorkit gogora.

Snow and soup

Walking on snow with sun and no wind, is a little great pleasure in winter sunday mornings.
Elurretan ibiltzea, eguzkitan eta haizerik gabe, igande goizeko plazer txiki izugarri horietakoa da.

One can find new architecture buildings in the middle of a natural park (They are the offices of a bank). My dad walking ten meters in front of all and speaking alone, while he thinks we are there.
Batek arkitektura berriko egoitzak topa ditzake parke natural baten ertzean. Aita hamar metrora bakarrik hitzegiten, ondoan gaituelakoan.

Deers just posing for the photo.
Oreinak, argazkirako hor jarriak bezala.
Ciervos, casi posando para la foto.

And in the evening a bit of hot soup. This "fish" was bought in Turku (Finland). I find it quite useful. And it looks so charming, don´t you think?
Eta gauean sopa beroa. "Arraina" finlandiatik ekarri nuen. Nahiko erabilgarria aurkitzen diat pasata eta sopak egiten nagoenean. Eta egia esan toke bat ematen dio sukaldeari, ezta?

Good night and have a great week. Gabon eta izan dezazuela aste goxoa.

Shadow hunting

I went hunting. It was a sunny day, so I took my arms and go hunting to Salburua.
Ehizean joan nintzen. Egun argia zegoen eta nire bi armak hartu eta ehizean joan nintzen Salburuara.
Ayer salí a cazar.

I went hunting lights, shadows and reflections.
Argiak, itzalak eta isladak arrapatzera irten nintzen.
A atrapar luces, sombras y reflejos.

And inspired by other posts, hunting red spots in blue skies.
Eta beste post batzuen inspiraziopean, bolatzo gorriak zeru urdinean arrapatzera.

It was not the day

It was not the day. I woke up early, full of energy...and decided to do Jane´s receip for cookies. The result is obvious. Not cookies, but A cookie.
Ez zan eguna. Goiz jaiki nintzen, energiaz betea...eta Janen gaileta errezeta aurrera eramatea erabaki nuen.

It was not the day. We use the GPS for escaping from a trafic jam and spent one hour more in the road.
Ez zan eguna. GPSa erabili genuen trafiko atasko batetik ateratzeko eta ordu bat gehiago igaro genuen bidean.
It was not the day. But although the cookies look not very nice they were quite tasty. Chocolate is chocolate. And the little trip for other roads was great to discover places we didn´t know. Places where dogs run behind cars, where road are wide enough for a car, where rain stops just to look round. Sometimes bad days are not so bad, just one must learn to look at.
Ez zan eguna. Baina nahiz eta itzuraz gailetak onak ez izan, zapore goxoa zuten. Txokolatea beti da txokolatea. Eta bideetan galdua ibiltzeak leku zoragarriak erakutzi zizkigun. Non txakurrek kotxeen atzetik korri egiten duten, non bidean kotxea bezain zabalak diren eta non euria gelditu egiten den ingurura begiratzeko.
