The begining

After some days totally disconected, I started to work last week. Some days in Madrid, new enterprise, new partners, new everything. I tried to go out and visited a bit the city. But hotel was quite far and although it was a super hotel, no internet and so far...moved to the center to find out, hot, people and visit in person some friends and their new project.

Lekuz kanpo ibilitako egun batzuen ostean lan berrian hasi nintzen pasatako astean. Egun batzuk Madrilen, enpresa berria, lankide berriak, dena berriegiegia. Hiria bizitatzen saiatu nintzen baina hotela, naiz eta izugarrizkoa izan, beste puntan zegoen, beraz piskat limatatua ibili nintzen...hala ere lagunak bizitatzeko beta izan nuen.

Después de unos días de desconexión total, empecé a currar la semana pasada. Unos días por Madrid, nueva empresa, nuevos compañeros, todo demasiado nuevo. Un hotel en las afueras, impresionante pero sin conexión...así que me acerqué al centro, encontrando calor, gente, más gente y alguna que otra visita a una amigas y su nuevo proyecto.

Now I move everyday to work. It is so different, so many sensations, begining, finishing...a bit of discontrol.

Egunero mugitzen naiz lanera. Hain da ezberdina, hainbeste sensatzio berri, hasierak, amaierak....deskontrola.

Todos los días me muevo a trabajar. Es diferente, tantas sensaciones, los comienzos, los finales...un poco caótico todavía.

So I have everything discontrolled, and time to write and visit is one of my problems. Will try to organize soon, visit corner view, visit you and start strong again.

Guztia diat apur bat deskontrolatua eta denbora faltan diat...idazteko, visitatzeko. Ordenean jartzen saiatuko naiz, laister, bizitatzeko, idazteko eta gogor ekiteko berriro.

Todo está un poco descontrolado, sobre todo el orden que rige el tiempo...trataré de adecuar horarios, de visitaros más, de escribir...

Summer changes

Summer is being a bit strange. At the end of july I received a good job offer and left my last job. This new one is out of where I live, so after nearly 8 years walking or riding work, I had to buy a car, and start driving again. Job looks great, will tell some months later, but all changes involve both fear and happiness.

July was grey and August is being, sunny hot and cloudy...in the same proportion.

The mother of a good friend is at hospital for a severe injury and I have being helping taking care of the dog, his nephew, being a bit the listener, the outside voice, so...little time for write, read or so.

Next monday I start to work again...hope to start organizing my new way of life and keep in contact with all of you....have missed a lot.

Uda arraroa aurkitu dut. Lanez aldatu nintzen hilabetearen amaierarekin, eta 8 urtez oinez edo bizikletan lanera joan ta gero, Bilboko bidea ikasi beharrean sentitu naiz...oraingoan kotxe berriarekin. Lanak itzura ona du, baina denbora pasa hala esan beharreko puntua da.

Abuztuak grisak, hotzak, eguzkiak eta beroak izan ditu, buruak izan dituen modu berdinean...nahaztuak.

Lagun baten ama hospitalean dabil eta laguntzen ibili naiz, txakurrarekin, hilabarekin, entzuten...azken finean uda arraroa izan da. Ez diat ezertarako denborarik izan...eta faltan bota zaituztet.

El verano ha sido raro. Cambié de trabajo cuando cambié de mes. Después de 8 años caminando o yendo en bici a trabajar, se me plantea el reto de coger un coche todos los días para cambiar de ciudad. Nuevos hábitos, nuevos horarios, nuevo...todo.

Agosto está revuelto, como yo...sin saber si hoy quiere sol o frío.

Lamadre de un buen amigo está en el hospital, por lo que ayudarle ha transformado un poco mi verano. Paseos con el perro, juegos con su sobrina....escuchar, animar, estar ahí.

El lunes empiezo a trabajar...y espero poder ir habituandome a todo y tener tiempo de seguir visitandoos...os echo de menos.

Summer?

Sun is out. Saying hello at least. There are some changes that will arrive in a moment. So I have no moments to write long. Just say hello, and promise to tell you more...soon.

Eguzkia kanpoan da. Azkenean. Aldaketak somatzen dira...iritziko dira laister. Beraz denbora gabe nabil, idazteko, irakurtzeko. Kaixo besterik, eta laster idatziko dudanaren promesua.

Es sol parece haber decidido asomarse a decir hola. Hay cambios en el horizonte, tan próximos que apenas me dejan respirar. Ni escribir. Prometo volver pronto y contaros.

Where is summer?

This has been the sky colour for the last three or four weeks. Grey.

Hay izan da azken asteotako zeruaren kolorea. Grisa.

Este ha sido el color del cielo en las últimas tres o cuatro semanas. Gris.

This has been the maximum temperatura for the last weeks.

Hau izan da izan degun tenperatura altuena.

Esta está siendo la máxima temperatura estas semanas.

Where is summer?

Yesterday was fiesta. Santiago´s day. My grandfather used to come from the country to see the animals and so. Always has been an special day for that. Visiting city with a country man, that usually didn´t come to it. Love to hear him talking about cows, or horses...the size of vegetables...the colour....miss him.

Atzo jaieguna zan. Santiago eguna. Aitona herritik etortzen zen egun bakarretakoa zen. Ferixa eguna. Bitxia zan berarekin holako tokitan ibiltzea. Faltan botatzen det.

Ayer era festivo. El día Santiago. Era uno de esos pocos días en los que mi abuelo dejaba el pueblo para visitar la ciudad. Era día de feria. Le encantaba pasear viendo los animales, las novedades en tractores...era como viajar a otro mundo con él. Lo echo de menos.

This is the first of many...I hope. My mum started the collection...have to follow, as sun doesn´t want me to go out.

Hau askotako lehena izanen da...hala espero dut. Amak egin du...eta nik jarraitu beharko...azken finean eguzkiak ez du kanpora irten nadin nahi.

Es el primero de muchos...espero. Mi madre ha empezado la colección...y tendré que seguirla, puesto que el sol no invita a otra cosa.

Leather working I

I have a new phone. So start designing something for it.

Mugikor berria diat, beraz funda baten diseinuan jarri naiz.

Tengo móvil nuevo que necesita funda. Así que me puse al diseño.

Measure. Draw patterns. Pass them to leather.

Neurtu. Patroiak marraztu. Larrura pasatu.

Medir. Dibujar los patrones. Pasarlos al cuero.

Cut leather and check it is allright.

Larrua mostu eta ondo dagola begiratu.

Cortar el cuero y comprobar que va bien de medidas.

Reduce the area where it will fold.

Gutxitu larrua doblatzen den lekuan.

Reducir la piel en la doblez.

I have used felt to make the inside part softer. So clue two parts and wait.

Fieltroa erabili dut barruko forro bezala. Bi parteak kolatu eta itxoin.

He usado fieltro como forro para la funda. Encolamos las partes y a esperar.

I hope to finish it this weekend. So I will so next part of the process.
