Working

Leather work in process. Orange leather for christmas present for my mum. Guess what could it be? Here I have glued the leather with the inner cover.
Larruzko lana. Larru laranja amarentzat gabon oparirako. Ezetz asmatu zer den? Hemen larrua eta barruko forrua pegatzen.
Trabajo de cuero en proceso. Cuero naranja para el regalo de navidad de mi madre. A que no adivinaís de qué se trata? Aquí tengo encoladas el cuero y el forro.

Sitting on the flour making holes...millions of holes to sew.
Lurrean eseria zuloak egiten...milaka zulo gero josteko.
Sentada en el suelo haciendo agujeros...miles de agujeros para luego coser.

Knitting classes with my mother. First lesson how to make some mittens. The real result, a complet desaster. I need to practice more. I think I have started the same part three or four times....no matter. I would made them. (I learnt so time ago...that have forgotten all).
Amarekin puntua egiten hasi naiz. Lehengo lekzioa, manopla batzuk. Egitan, desastre hutsa. Praktika behar diat. Uste diat hiru edo lau aldiz hasi naizela zati berdina egiten...ez du azola. Lortuko dut. (Orain urte asko ikasi nuen...orain ia ahaztua dut dena).
He empezado con mi madre a tejer.

Have a great weekend!

  1. FINALLY I know what you're working on! I was wondering if it had to do with leather. I'm really bad at guessing, so I'll wait until you show us the finished project. Once (I was 16) I made a small leather backpack: I still remember punching those holes! Don't give up on the knitting! I love all your matching oranges and purples.

  5. Fun projects!! Darling tights! Love the color of yarn for the mittens. I can barely knit a scarf. Mittens seem impossible!

    Happy Weekend!

  7. I like the colour of the yarn. Don't give up, knitting is so much fun! But it's also hard sometimes.. The first mittens (and second and third ones) I ever did were horrible, luckily it's getting easier all the time:)
