Slow clay

This year I repeat at my ceramic classes. It is a hobby that relaxes me a lot and is so versatile that can make almost everything that crosses my mind. There is something that I love about working with clay. You can start with an idea but while hours run, the clay become alive and that idea can easily turn into another one. It is as if the material talks with you and becomes in what it wants.
Berriro hasi naiz zeramika klaseetan. Erlaxatzen nauen hobbie bat da. Hain da erabilgarria ze burutik ateratzen diren ia ideia guztiak egiteko ahalmena ematen dizu. Bada buztinarekin ibiltzean gustoko dudan beste detaile bat. Ideia batekin hasi eta orduak igaro ahala, buztinak bizitza bezala hartzen dihoa eta hasierako ideia hura desagertu eta buztinak nahi duenan bihurtzen da.

Last weekend after class we had the possibility of visiting an atelier that is near the classroom. They work both typish basque ceramic and contemporany ideas. This photos are from a minimalist collection where lines are simple and forms take importance.
Pasatako astean klase ostean ikasgela ondoan dagoen tailer bat bizitatzeko aukera izan genuen. Beraien lana bi bide ditu. Bata euskal buztintza tradizionala eta bestea modernoagoa. Argazkietan simpletasunez beteriko formak agertzen dira.

In the same week I have discovered another atelier. This one in a virtual way. Love how she is able to show us beauty in those little pieces. Simple lines, nearly without colour, invites us to take life in a slow way. I recomend  you to take a look. You would probably fall in love in her work.
Aste berdinean beste tailer bat deskubritu nuen. Hau modu birtualagoan. Maite diat nola modu hain simplean hainbeste edertasun agertarazteko indarra duen. Nola forma garbi eta ia kolore gabekoek, bizitza lasaitasunez hartzen gonbidatzen gaituzten.
Esta misma semana he descubierto otro taller.
